Yes ! A better Teacher

Great teachers are those that teach from their hearts and are those that always hold high expectations for their students . They never underestimate students' abilities because they know that this can have a bad effect that will continue to exist with students as if they have an eternal scarce . When you underestimate your students' abilities , you are killing them slowly , because most of the times students lack self confidence and they have the ability but they don't know how to use their abilities to succeed , or sometimes learners believe that if the teacher thinks that they can't do it , they probably  can't do it and they give up easily  . As teachers , you should always think of what is  better for your learners and you should believe in them  , you have to know that with hard work students can rock the world and if you think and you show them that they can do it , they will be more motivated to learn and to succeed . If you hold low expectations for your learners , your learners will start automatically to hold low expectations for themselves and thus they will be demotivated and they will be unwillingly to learn because they believe no matter what they do , they will never be high achievers or good students so they prefer to fulfill the teachers' anticipation .But if you believe that your learners can succeed and you work with them on achieving learning targets , they will succeed . Remember always that teachers are facilitators , they want to facilitate the learning process for their students and when teachers believe , students do also believe!

This website gives you some examples of how to communicate high expectations for your learners :

The teacher should always provide a high expectation towards there students and should communicate it with the students to motivate them to work and achieve the goal. once the teacher till the students that they can do it, the students try and try until they achieve it. However, if the teacher till them them that this is hard and just one or two can do it, the middle and low achievement stop working.
